Gente Pantalla & Brotes
"Gente Pantalla" is one of the projects that form part of the exposition "Brotes". This initiative was creative by some photography students from the University of Alcalá.
Our goals were:
-
Showcase the different styles from every artist
-
Live a "real-work" experience
-
Create a set of images that portrait a common theme or idea
"Gente Pantalla" talks about the coldness of today's digitized world. It portraits mundane people involved in their daily lives with their faces attached to a screen. The author themselves falls into the trap of technology by the use of the digital camera.

The self-portrait of "Gente Pantalla" was also featured as the image for the poster of the exposition, as well as the tickets. It was also used for the marketing in several medias such as the profile picture of "Aula de Fotografía" or instagram posts to promote the event.
In this exposition I was not only a part of the artists; I also did performed as project coordinator assistant of the assembly team.
Some of the activities that we were required to performed included:
-
Attending and directing meetings with other teams
-
Creating the mockup for the exposition
-
Deciding the order of the artists between them and in the room itself
